Her wild radiant smile still sits there where nobody expects.
Spectacular-
She trucks through the empty, abandoned route
Her hope carried in a broken vase
There comes a tear, struck from my hungry eyes
I tried plucking strength from my weeded heart
I tried
But she is different-
I’m speechless, she wears a language of the unknown
These jagged and sorrowful days
Of April
Rich and ripe with pain
Pain opens its jaws wide
I didn’t see the sun at dawn
She’s not me,
She’s a wild flower that blooms in dark
